At LuggageParty, we believe that every empty space in a suitcase represents more than spare capacity — it represents a connection waiting to happen. Millions of travelers move between South Asia and the rest of the world every week, carrying unused luggage space, while families and businesses often wait days or even weeks for items that could have reached their destination within hours. LuggageParty was created to bridge that gap — transforming ordinary journeys into trusted delivery opportunities and bringing communities closer together, one trip at a time.

Born From a Common Problem, Built for a Global Community

Before LuggageParty, sending a small parcel often meant relying on a friend, a relative, or a friend-of-a-friend who happened to be traveling. While these informal arrangements usually worked, they depended heavily on chance, favors, and unstructured trust.

We envisioned something better. LuggageParty was founded to turn these personal networks into a secure and dependable ecosystem — combining verified travelers, protected escrow payments, and real-time tracking, while preserving the warmth and human connection that made the idea so powerful in the first place.

Today, our growing network spans more than 50 countries, with some of the busiest routes connecting Bangladesh with diaspora communities across Malaysia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, the United States, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia.

Every Great Journey Begins with a Simple Observation

Sometimes, the most powerful ideas don't begin in boardrooms.

They begin during an ordinary journey.

In 2023, my father, Md. Obydul Haque, travelled to Malaysia for business. Like many international travellers, he was allowed to carry 50 kilograms of luggage. When he reached the airport, he realized something surprising.

His suitcase weighed only 30 kilograms. Twenty kilograms of valuable luggage space would travel thousands of kilometers... completely empty. That simple moment sparked a question:

"What if this unused space could help someone else?"

At the time, it was just an idea.

An observation quietly waiting for the right moment.

An Idea Shared Over a Plate of Biryani

In 2025, while enjoying a plate of traditional biryani together in the historic streets of Old Dhaka, my father shared that idea with me.

He said,

"Ali, one day someone should build a platform where travellers can safely use their unused luggage space to help people around the world."

That conversation stayed with me.

At that time, I had recently returned from Russia after completing my studies and was working at ESKM on the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project.

But no matter how busy life became, that simple idea kept returning to my mind. The more I thought about it...

The more I realized this wasn't just about luggage. It was about connecting people.

Helping families. Supporting students abroad. Giving entrepreneurs a smarter way to send product samples.

Creating opportunities for travellers to earn from space that would otherwise remain unused.

Turning an Idea into Reality

Months of planning, research, design, and development followed.

In December 2025, LuggageParty first came online as an early digital platform.

Throughout 2026, we worked tirelessly to build a secure, trusted, and user-friendly experience—introducing identity verification, transparent communication, and a platform designed around trust.

Finally, on 1 September 2026, we made a decision that would change everything.

LuggageParty would officially begin its public journey. Not simply as another delivery platform...

But as a global community where every journey creates opportunity. 🌍
